
Guiding Principles
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; because; he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor,sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free’. Luke: 4:18-19:
- Experiencing and encountering God daily, being a witness of God’sbenevolence.
- Going to the people where they are and not where we are, to reach the unreached, to share God’s word with them.
- Abiding by the Catechism of the Catholic Church, it’s Tradition, to promote the kingdom values among the believers in God.
Objectives
- To foster devotion to Christ in the Eucharist, to the Sacraments and the Sacred signs of our Catholic Church.
- To promote a greater appreciation of the power of God’s word in our worship and in the lives of all Catholics.
- To facilitate the personal religious experiencesof Basic Christian Communities through participation in smallgroups and other communal activities, in which the Good News is shared, experienced and applied to daily life.
- To strengthen a sense of individuals responsibility in safeguarding thelocal church and promoting its activities.
- To equip and educate the children and Youth with Biblical and Ethical values and make them understand the cultural diversity of the Church.
- To share gospel values in our society, promoting dignity of the human persons, the common good of our society, by visiting the prisoners, home for the Aged and the Differently Abled.
